About this experience

Mepula-pulaan is a Balinese term referring to the activity of planting or cultivating crops. This term often describes the diligent work of farmers cultivating their fields to achieve a harvest, as seen in everyday life in Balinese village. In this experience, we'll explore how Balinese villagers avoid the use of single-use plastic bags during the seeding and sowing process.

About this experience

What if something as simple as fruit scraps could be turned into something useful? In this eco enzyme experience, you’ll learn how everyday waste can be transformed into natural, practical solutions. Guided by a local practitioner, you’ll make your own eco enzyme and turn it into a hand sanitizer you can actually use. It’s a simple, hands-on activity that gives you something meaningful to take home, and maybe a new way of looking at waste.
